Hi to all

I am trying to replace the weighted original bar ends of the Kawasaki er6n (2013) with much thiner, non weighted ones. However, everything I order , the screws are too thin. Its quite a thick bolt that holds the original bar end in place. The only ones I find available are the same heavy, wide weighted ones. Can anyone help?

First thoughts are to heli-coil the bar to accept the smaller threaded bar weight.
