06 Vulcan Nomad 1600 leaking coolant
Hey all,
I'm a new rider and the VN1600 is my first bike. I took it out this morning did a quick little loop around my neighborhood and headed over to the nearby church parking lot to practice my turns more. After maybe 20 mins, I stopped and left the bike in neural to stretch my legs and take a picture of it. After five mins, I noticed a big puddle of coolant. I couldn't tell where it was coming from and freaked out and drove it back home. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
Thank you
James

First thing you need to do is see where it's coming from.
As you were riding slow for 20 mins doing loops the Engine may have got hot with no air flow through the Rad if the cooling fan didn't cycle, This will cause the system to overflow into the expansion tank then out through the overflow pipe onto the ground.
Have you checked the Level in the expansion Tank ?
What was the Ambient temp that day ?
Did you hear the Fan cycle when you were riding it slow ?
How about a Picture you took just for prosperity

I have a 06 Wanderer 1600 that I can smell radiator liquid consuming when I start it yet have not seen any spilling at this point. Any other individual at any point have this issue? How large of a task is it to eliminate the radiator and get it tried/fixed? Any assistance would be incredibly appreciated.I mean riding season just began and I don't need it down for a really long time
