Default 1600 Nomad Buffetting?

Hi
I own a Vulcan 900 LT and am thinking of going to a larger model for better long distance rides and for better highway cruising. The 900 is a wonderful bike and handles like a dream, my only concern is with the head buffetting. I have added lowers which helped.
Before I go to a 1600 Nomad I am wondering if the 2007 has the same buffeting problem. I read one magazxine review on a 2005 model that mentioned the head buffetting issue. The 2007 Nomadhas an smaller windshield that the 900 which should help.
Can riders who own the 1600 Nomad please comment on buffetting at higways speeds? Is it still a concern?
Thank you.

hey cd

i cant say about the 1600 nomad but the 06 2000 does have some head buffeting. now i cant really say how bad, but it doesn't bother me. i have been looking at some shields on this site. they seem to say the vent helps reduce the buffeting.

Good luck

I own an '06 Nomad that had pretty bad buffetting. Installed a set of Edmonds lowers, what a difference. Get them, you will not be disappointed.
