ZZR Question..?
Hey all.. current 250 owner, looking at moving up to a ZZR 600 in the next month or so.
A local dealer in San Diego is selling the '06 for $7,299. I'm not interested in getting another silver bike, but they also have a couple of '05s in the dark blue. They're asking about $6,800 for last years model, brand new. How much would you all expect to pay for this? What did you all pay for your new bikes?
Also, any ZZR owners have any regrets about this bike?
Thanks for your help!

I would think that 6800 is a fair price from a dealer, as thier is not a huge markup on ZZR model. I just purchased a ZZR three weeks ago and have no complaints, I just took it out today on a 90 mile ride-it's more comfortable on long rides than my 636.
Appreciate the info and the tip on parts. I'm just about convinced that I'll buy the '05. I've bought new cars in the past, but this is my first new bike purchase so I just don't wanna get screwed. Is it just the California bikes or does Kawi really only put out one color a year on these?
For the new ZZR600's it's just one color a year so far... I've got the '05 in the blue.. and it's awesome. Only trouble is getting aftermarket parts if you want them paint-matched, as it's an uncommon color. It is getting easier though.
