i had a brand new one back in 98 and i had it pegged at 120. doesnt feel real good at 120 but she will do it. completly stock

Yea, I agree.. 120 mph top.. on the speedo.. prob about 105 mph actual My first bike was a 2001 250. Great learner bike but I would bet it does not make a great drag bike.
