Default zzr 1200

Has anyone riden or own a zzr 1200 I know it shares the same motor as my zrx 1200r, but I am thinking of geting one like some feed back/comfort,engine heat, wind protection, how does she feel in the turns, I know it is fast. I will be doing a lot of state to state riding with a single bag on rear seat, the zrx is great but the wind gets to you after a while. AFTER MUCH THOUGHT GOING TO STAY WITH THE REX TEST RODE A ZZR AND LIKED IT, BUT JUST LIKE THE ZRX 1200 R BETTER. JUST GOING TO CHANGE WIND SCREENS.

Well, looks like i'm a little late to post this....lol.

I have a zzr1200 and love it. It's quick, comfortable (even better now that i have my custom Tobin seat), and I have no problems hanging with the guys in the turns. It's a heavy bike...comparable to the busa...but I love my ZED!

Sorry to hear that you didn't get it....i don't think you'd be dissappointed!!

i too own a zzr 1200 02 , silver, full givi outfit, i love the mind bending power, up here in the north of scotland the roads are awesome, plenty of sports riders to blast past or plenty of torque to just cruise, being 6ft 2in. and 18 stone, the big bike fits like a glove and after 16 years of riding smaller bikes that were so skittish in handling the big zed just feels so steady. as i found out just recently it will handle well on the twisty bits , keeping pace with the sportys very well and blasting away effortlessly on the straights. I havent maxed her out yet but as i have a rwyb at the local raf base this august , 2 miles of runway, i reckon 185-195 mph shouldnt be far of . pity ya didnt get the bike dude, you woulnt have been dissapointed. ride safe
