i've always found the older guys on the harleys to be more responsive to initiate a wave or wave back. a lot of the sport bike guys do too but a lot of them seem more interested in pullin a wheelie or something in front of me than to just enjoy the ride.

When I first started riding (about a month now) I noticed that the guys on the sports bikes where always throw out the "duces" as I rode by and I was thinking "I don't know that guy!" As I started reading the fourms I learned the whole storybehind waving to fellow cyclist. So now that I'm more comfortable with my ridingI throw out the "duces" as much as possible now to fellow cyclist. I have noticed that MOST of the Harley and other cruiser bikersdon't wave back which in turn is kinda kick to the ***** but I still try. I know that it's hard to wave when your have the clutch pulled in or turning but other then that it's not hard to just throw a hand up or out.

I wave at everything on 2 wheels. Sometimes bikes even, lol. The people on bikes and scooters have pass me by, but most people on a motorcycle will wave back. This was a good story.
