Default Well it happened... Again. Poor bike

Well my poor baby has hit the concrete once again.

A person ran into my bike in the parking lot and knocked it over doing some minor damage. Broke the peg in half, mirror is gone, tail is broken up. All an all minor damage though. Frame sliders once again saved the rest of the bike. God how I do love those frame sliders (Vortex Cut type worth their weight in gold. Great investment) Luckily it was a decent human being (forgot they existed) they came into my work and told me about it and had me come out and take a look at everything and asked me to start it up to make sure I could get it home without having it towed. Very nice guy,he genuinely felt bad. He did it with the truck he drives for his company and got all of my info and called me when I got home and asked if I could give him a list of the parts damaged so his work could figure out how they wanted to fix everything. He told me they would call me on monday to get the ball rolling on getting everything fixed for me or get me the money it will take to get it fixed. So it appears for the moment that they will be taking care of everything for me which is nice. Here's to hoping everything goes the way it should when something like this happens and with as little hassle as possible. I must say I'm impressed with the guy so far I didn't even get that upset which is some what surprising just because of the fact that it was my baby laying on the ground broken I don't think I have to tell you guys how upsetting that is. I'm sure you can imagine but he was very nice and felt bad and I more than most understand **** happens some times. So I understand mistakes made plenty myself and that's all this was so I didn't get upset at all which is nice not being to stressed out about it. We all know life is hard enough to survivewithoutgetting worked up over what will of course turn out to be a minor set back and just a moment in time.

If anyone has any doubts to weather they should go out and get frame sliders it's a must. They are a valuable investment and they will pay off sooner or later. Sad to think about it like that but **** happens we all know that. Then of course the one that shocked me is there are actually some good people out there still which is nice to be reminded of that from time to time. Anyway figured I'd share my little story with you and I hope everyone has a safe superbowl sunday lots of drunks to dodge so be careful.

wow, sucks about the tip over. But, you are correct in being calm with a person who admits and is actually sorry about it. Not manyconscientiouspeople out there anymore.

edit: I did not flip out when one of my previous excursions of 7 days new got whacked, the lady knocked on my door too. How can a person flip out when honesty is there? Good call, sorry about the ride though.

Man, sucks about your ride. At least the guy was honest, and it'll get taken care of.

Hey 100% completely not my fault this time lmao. Besides last time no damage came to the fairings you gave me lmao. Besides if I was parked at your pad for some BBQ this would never have happened. So when you think about it, I mean really think about it, this is all your fault. =)
