Default Storage Prep

Well the weather says its time for SNOW!!!! with this type of news im putting the bike in storage for the time being. Is there any type of prep i should do before letting it sit over the winter?? Change oil/coolant?? Drain the tank?? or just leave it be... the place it will be store is not heated. any suggestions for a noob would be appreciated.

Change the oil and filter before lay up. Fill the tank to the brim. Use stabiliser if your local fuel is crappy enough to need it. Make sure that the coolant has the correct strength antifreeze.

Remove the battery and arrange for a 6 hour trickle charge once a month - or fit a battery tender.

Clean, polish and lube the bike and throw a dust cover over it. If you can, lift the tyres with a pair of stands, or put a bit of carpet under the tyres.

A well ventilated but unheated garage is best.

Next spring, refit the battery, check the tyre pressures, and ride away.

Here in Florida we wait a day or two, then ride.
No since storing for a day.
