does anyone know if it would be worth the time and money restoring a 78 kl250? it was my dads bike since he was 18 and then he just gave it to me because he thought all it was good for was garbageand i started working on it and got it running but right now its in pretty rough condition but could this bike have any value and what could it possibly be worth if i fix it up and make it look good and run good because it is so rare and i can get new parts from a bike shop by my house

 

not sure on what it would take to fix it up but if you look at it it's an classic now. I would try to fix her up and if you think about then show it to your father i bet he would want her back. It sounds like a good project bike for you.

 

I would go for it. I fixed up my KZ750 last year and love it. Unfortunately, It's gonna be hard giving advice to you about your bike since probably none of us on here even have an old KL250. But we'll try!

 

I am a sucker for older rides. Fun to put together and really not worth the sale if desired.
