Rode this nightrod, the forward controls are too far forward for my legs I had trouble shifting. Other than that it was a lot better than the air cooled Harleys IMO

I saw some dude riding a Harley the other day. He was proud and really thought he was something. He pulled into the intersection reving it up. All of sudden, some chick pulled up next to him on a ZX-14. He rev the bike louder and louder. The light turned green and she left him sitting still. I laughed so hard. He stopped reving his bike and had that look of epic failure.

I was revving my Harley too because it had bad spark plug wire, replaced wires and don't do that anymore.

Since I got my riding license in 2007 I had 16 bikes, including Vulcan 1500 and 7 GoldWings. My 16th bike is 99 Turing Harley.
First of all I would like to say that GoldWings have a lot of problems. And I was fixing them one after another. I paid Honda mechanic 100 and he still couldn't tell me what was wrong with clutch.
I like my Harley. Yes it shakes at traffic light which is part of fun. It definitely runs slower than sport bikes, who cares?
They are expensive but I paid for mine 3K and about 2K for parts (after accident). There is something great about them which almost nobody knows, they are easy to repair. For example it takes 5 min. to remove gear cam and forks. They also keep value which means you can ride them for free! Buy, ride for one year and sell for the same price!
Now I want Kawasaki 2000. There is new one on Ebay for 10K.

I rode a DRZ 400 and for a few minutes I wanted to defect from the KLX, then I came to my senses. LOL
