Default First "Joyride" today

Well besides transporting my brand new bike (2011 ninja zx-6r) home in 40 degree weather over a highway...I took my first open ride today. Engine had (zero) miles on it so I'm going owners manual style and keeping the RPM's at 4000 or less. It rides like a charm! Need to work on shifting easier but that will come with time, also learned that 45mph is about my Max (safe) speed during engine break in. I only have a single blinker light on my gauge cluster so every time I hit my blinker I felt like my hazard lights were on <--> is what I see. My insurance, with a spotless driving record, jumped a decent bit but I guess that's what I get with new toy. Tomorrow is suppose to be a bit warmer and I fully plan to ride again, ahhh....how I've missed riding!!

Poor quality I know, there will be better ones taken later. Rookie question, between my engine start/stop switch and ignition switch there is another switch that goes left/right. No picture ID, no writing...I've moved it a few times while the bike was running and nothing happened. What's it do?? Any ZX-6R riders know?

Again, congrats on the new ride.

The owners manual should be located under the seat to peruse.

Hahahahahahaha Dude, before I even read your comment Hoe, I was formulating a comment on that garage floor. Wow am I that predictable? Don't answer that. But yes clean up that floor, that is not acceptable. LOL
