Default Cardo Scala Rider Q2 intercom system

The batteries in my helmet intercom system died. With my luck Cardo no longer supports the Q2 system and doesn't provide help with new batteries. I found a few articles on the internet about replacement batteries but not sure if the info. is accurate. Does anyone on this site have experience they would share. The only batteries I find on ebay are from countries in Europe. One site recommends an Ipod generation 5 battery as a substitute. Any info. will be appreciated.

Search this forum: Equipment - ADVrider
If you don't find anything, its as good of place as any to post your question in a new thread.

This gal seems to know what she's doing with the Cardo: Cardo Scala G4 earbud mod - ADVrider

I checked with several battery vendors here in the states and had absolutely no luck. I finally ordered from a vendor in the Netherlands through ebay. The batteries were made in China. Soldered them in Monday and they charged right up and the system works. I don't know how the performance will be but will find out soon.
