camshaft tensioner

Default camshaft tensioner

will trying to start my Vulcan without camshaft tensioner knock it ou8t of time?

I don't know the specifics of your Vulcan, but I suspect that could be a bad thing and potentially catastrophic.

Probably 99-44/100% chance yes. The cam chain has enough slack in it to skip teeth at the crank if there is no tensioner to take up the slack.
