1999 KE-100, possible trade?
I found this bike on craigslist and I'm looking at trading it for my 90's yamaha timberwolf 250 2x4... Good Trade? the reason I ask is because I am new to motorcycles this will be my first one, but it looks fun to ring-a-ding around town on it!!

That was weird, we have a member on here although he's been MIA for a while with almost your exact user name. I think you have an extra v in there. The Ke100 from what I read is a 2 stroke dual sport. What are you going to use the bike for? Commute? Trails? The bike is light as in power, and not really setup to do 55 for too long. If you ride it too slow on the trails, then look forward to fouling plugs. I was looking for the same bike for a friend of mine's wife, but she settled on an older XT225. I have seen them on craigslist for around 1200, do you have a link? Oh and welcome to both of you to the forums.

Did a quick search in Seattle and there is one that's in mint condition, great little bike for the money.

So here is an example of the difference between bikes. The first link I posted is what looks like from a 2000 or newer bike with 300 miles for 1200, now look at this one.
Here is an 1980 with 4400 miles, for the same price.
1980 Ke100, dual sport
Someone is asking way too much, and someone is selling for a real good price. There are deals to be had, just watch out for those not so good deals.

Another for $800, looks to be the newer style.
2002 kawasaki KE 100
So the point of posting is so you have an idea what these bikes are going for, so you can make an informed decision.

I think this bike would be a good gas saver, and nice for the Georgia summer. Also, I have a clean driving record so I'm expecting insurance to be reasonable.
How long is too long to hold out on the throttle on this type of bike? ex.riding down road at 45-50mph and getting lucky with some traffic lights
