I am buying a KLX250s and am curious what gear i should wear for riding on the road???????

 

start with a jacket that offers arm and back protection and some street pants, boots and knee gards. helmet is your choice but remember, dirt gear is not that effective on the streets.

 

HJC has some nice street and dirt helmets. Remeber on the streets "leather up" and since it looks like your in the mil. you have no choice. while on the trails make sure you still have protect clothing but don't forget about the chess armor because eating handle bars is not fun.

 

Look at the scorpion helmets, not much more pricy than HJC's, but they are much better fit, ventilation, and a little more refined IMHO. I have the exo 700 and it is great. My HJC before was a good helmet, just my opinion.

 

Almost forgot....wear gloves everytime. People all geared up and no gloves make me laugh, whats gonna hit first most likely?
