Transition face shield

It goes clear quiker then it goes to dark. SO i would say about 10 seconds If that. But the only neat thing is it does not look that dark from the inside. it is not like a tinted visor that is hard to see out of when you hit a low light area. That is why near the end of the video you see me moving my head up. I did not think it was getting dark pretty sweet actually.

Looks good Mike. If they could make one that goes darker than that funky (silver halide crystal) gray-blue like most, I might be interested.
I had one of the photochromic shields from Scorpion, which worked pretty nice for awhile. It never really got DARK, though, which was a disappointment. It got maybe a light smoke, but not a dark dark. I'm not sure why this is so doggone difficult for a helmet-shield manufacturer to develop! So, when i got my Bell Star several months ago, I just went with the dark smoke, and wear safety glasses underneath when I'm going to be out after the sun goes down. Mike, give us a follow-up post at the end of the riding season to update us on the transition speed; still as quick.
