Im looking at some boots and i came across these

They are Vega Nitro Techsport boots. Has any one tried them or know any who has them? The price is really good 109.99 and they look nice.

Can't help on any input and not to get this thread off topic to bad but... Anyone have much info about that style of boots (lots of hard plastic style?) I've a pair of Sidi just plain ol' leather boots and I love them, always wondered about those super boots though lmao...

SIDI does make a damn fine pair of boots. Mine are full gore-text lined, but still breath enough to wear in 100 degree temps. The only thing I would suggest, is see where your boots have reinforcement, and what it's reinforced with, My boots have a hrd plastic buffer sewn into the leather on the ankles, shin, toes, and heel, PLUS they're gore-tex lined, so you can step in a river up to your ankles, and not get wet.

I got a pair of SIDI canyon gor-tex, but Sidi makes a lot of good moderately priced boots with very comprehensive armor. Besides which, they've been making highperformance foot ware for about 40-50 years now I think...

Not that it will answer your question completely, but I hve the Vega nitro women's boots. Mine are plain and don't have the shiny buckly thingy's on them, just zippers on both sides. I love them! They are comfortable enough to wear everyday, but sometimes they have a propensity to be hot.

I've been enjoying my SIDI B2's. Not real flashy, but good on the street. And they're superLITE too! I would buy the best you can afford. Safety and protection is the last place to cheap out.

I've got some Sidi Vertabrae and some Teknic boots. The Sidi's are killer for the track, with all of the armor on them (but also really protect your feet for the street; kinda overkill, though.) The Teknic's are similar to what you have pictured; integrated "padding" and walking-style soles. Vega makes some pretty decent budget priced gear. You want something you can actually walk in, for the street. The racer-boy stuff is great ON the bike, but is like walking with bricks strapped to your feet, otherwise.
Any moto-oriented boots are better than flipflops!!

But they work! I get hasseled when I ride on the streets because I wear my track gear. Oh well, if it works for me, then I will still wear it. Yes, kinda flashy. Here is a pic of my comfy/old boots along with my new boots. Note, I busted an ankle in the comfy pair in the past.
