BN125 Disc Brake Conversion
Hey all,
Having finished the bobber conversion I've decided to modernise the ol' girl a bit.
I'm taking inspiration from a girl who built a Yamaha V-max. Though the BN is no V-Max I really like the style she went for.
I don't envision the rear brakes giving too much of an issue however, USD forks may prove a bit of an issue. The forks are 33mm by 640mm? I believe. I have a pair of 640mm by 37mm sport telescopic forks but I'm not sure they'll fit in my existing tree. Has anyone put larger diameter forks in their existing tree?
The other bump will be removing the foot controls from the front and installing controls further back. The pillion pegs and mounting tubes have already been removed. Just eyeballing it but I believe I'll be able to mount my controls where they were.
Any insight, input and opinions would be much appreciated.

As she is now.
Yesterday I swapped out the rear wheel assembly with one I'll be using from the doner bike. The good news is that both bikes use 15mm axels. However with the Kawasaki using drum brakes the hub is much wider than the one from the doner.
I'll need to have spacers made to go between the sprocket and hub as well as the brake disc and hub.
Anyone know of a good machine shop in Suffolk U.K. area. Near Bury St. Edmunds?
