Default Stator Rewind KLX 250

So I did a stator rewind on my 1995 KLX250 a year or two ago. Since then the bike has sat because I couldn't get it to make the lights work.

Recently I've done some reading about full wave rectifiers making it easier to wire. Was thinking of buying a new reg rec to rule that out of the equation and switch to a full wave to make it simpler to wire.

What I'm wondering is how I go about making the full wave work with my current winding. I alternate clockwise and counter but they are grouped into two groups of three. I assume if I tie one winding into the beginning of the other it should work. Coming out of the stator is just two yellow wires.

Also wondering if this will work on my bike with 5 wires? Is there a better and or cheaper option?

Do you have/meet these mandatory items?

"Wire connection for use with most machines. DC stator and battery/capacitor sold separately.

Note: Trail Tech's Regulator/Rectifier is not an OEM replacement and will not work with most factory stators. The stator must have a floated ground, modifications to stator may be required."

I believe so but that's what I'm asking if my modification will give me the floated ground.
