Default Remounting the petcock question

I read a bit online and thought I would try to get a direct answer. When I re mount the petcock to the tank , do I need sealing washers or do I used a semi drying sealant on the threads that is fuel resistent when I mount the petcock? I did not see any signs of old or existing washers on the two screws when i removed the petcock. Thanks

Use just the gasket. No sealant is required for the mounting screws.

Ok thx, i didn't look at it in detail yet, but I did read that the screws don't go through the tank so that is the reason why I suppose, jumped the gun on that one! Ha
