Default 1980 Kawasaki KZ440 Clutch Problem

i recently replaced the clutch cable. afterwards, i noticed that the clutch was engaging some with the lever squeezed. i tried to adjust it according to my book and something snapped inside the housing. now i have no tension whatsoever.

check the threaded adjuster to make sure that it did not seperate there as in it may have been adjusted too loose. good luck.
