Hi, i am new around here but i recently purchased my kz and there seems to be a chargin system issue. with a dvom on the battery while running with increased rpm i do not even manage to get over i volt above battery voltage. Is this normal? does any one have any sugestions. i have tested the batery numerous times and this tested fine.

it sounds like you have a bad stator or some thing else. not to great on trouble shooting electrical problems.

Check the acv output from stator. should be about 75 vac between 2 leads at 4000 rpm.If ok, make sure there is battery voltage on white wire at reg/rec, and battery voltage on brn wire with key on. the blk/yellow wire will also need a good ground. if all checks out, will a reg rectifier. would also make sure the stator wores are not pinched in the sprocket cover.
