Default knocking and ratting

[align=left]I have a 750 Vulcan, 1993, about 20 000miles. When I started my engine at idle, everything is ok, but when I increase RPM it starts knocking and ratting. It is lika a some kind of vibration inside the engine.
I suspected the camshaft chain to be lose or the valves, but everything is perfect.
When the engine gets warmer it seems like this sound dissapear but not to the end, is just lower.
Engine runs great, but sometimes I had some difficulties to start when was cold, but is could be a carburator issue.

I discowet that a water pump shaft is loose (wiggle about 2mm perpendiculary to the bearings), but I do not thinks that this could maka a such knocking.

May bye someone had similr problems.

Thanks for any adds

But bearing failure is bearing failure and can cause a lot of noise.
