Just bought a 2008 500 ltd and I think the bike is great, first bike I'v had since I gotout of the service 30 years ago. Two problems, one is the foot peg locations if you have a big footit tends to get stuck between the shifter and the foot peg, same as with the brakehowever you can adjust the brake lever to come upright more so it is more comfortable I looking to see of the footpeg is adjustable I don't have an allen wrench big enough right now. Like the bike though signed up for the safety class end of july.

 

i also just bought an 08 today and put about a humdred miles on it, iam liking it so far.
