Default Kawasaki 500 LTD - Jacking it up?

I am in the process of purchasing a new 2006 Kawasaki 500 LTD (previous bike was a 2004 Suzuki Volusia 800), and I was able to jack up my previous bike with my PittBull Motorcycle lift. Since the engine and pipes seem to hang lower than the frame on the 500....how do you fellows jack up your bikes? Do you need any special adaptors to lift the 500? I would appreciate any information that you can give me. Thank you.

I have the same problem with my 750. The pipes seem to be in the way. I just use heavy duty ratcheting straps hooked to the roof rafters to raise up the front end. Thats just what I did.

Thanks for the info. I contacted the guys at Pittbull Motorcycle Lifts, and they are going to check into this thing and see if they cannot come up with something......I paid over $350.00 for my lift, and I'm not about to junk it!! Later.
