Hi I have a 1999 1500 drifter on slight throttle it runs very badly almost sounds like its missing on more throttle it goes well. I have changed the ecu ignitor checked the tps and changed the power commander has anyone seen this before?

power commander....have you eliminated this from the equation yet in your testing?

Hi yes we put on a new one, the old one was shot but it did not change the way the bike runs. We also borrowed an ignitor from a bike that runs well and removed the plug leads first front then rear then each side to eliminate coils and leads its a pain at the moment I am not sure where to go next.

In your troubleshooting guide, a few things are mentioned.

Carburation issues: pilot screw maladjusted, dirty carb, poorly sealed air cleaner, carbs not synchronized, vacuum piston on carb sticking, air suction valve issues, vacuum switch valve trouble, just to name a few.
