I'm looking for some frame sliders for an '05 ZZR 600. Does anyone have any good/bad/ugly experiences with their sliders? From what I've seen on the net so far, I may have to cut the fairing to put anything decent on. I'm mostly interested in protecting the fairing against the low-speed tipovers that I hear are so common when learning to ride.

hey lockhart phillips makes frame sliders for the 05 zzr 600. they are listed for the '02 zx-6r ninja. they bolt right on using stock bolt holes, no cutting necessary. i can send you a pic of some installed if you need me to.

 

If you could post a pic that would be awesome. I've heard stories about them being prone to snapping off because of the relatively small bolt used... Have you had a chance to "use" them in a tipover or a crash yet? Know anyone that has?
