how does yours do on gas? and do you run the high grade or mid?...just trying to figure it out...someone also told me i should be turning the gas off when i park it...didnt see that in my manual though

 

I try to run the highest octane I can find. And I have a place that has non ethanol with 92 oct. that I always fill up at. (MN has ethonal in almost all pumps) Never figured out the mpg thing. I just love riding the thing and now just really starting to have fun with it since I'm over 1000 miles.

Good question with the turning the gas off. I would love to hear what everyone else does. I started off by turning it off all the time but now I've been leaving it on. I know have almost 1300 miles on it.

 

yeah i been running the 93 and the station i got to says no ethanol i been getting about 130 to 140 miles before i have to switch over...but i havent been getting on it to hard either still breakin it in....im getting there time for my first oil change

 

Congrats Lincoln. I got you slightly beat there. I just got my new '08 plasma blue zzr600 on sale fathers day of the showroom floor with 0miles for $6100 and also ready for first oil change.
