I picked up a zx10 with 200mi on it and I am still waiting for the manual,I put about 300mi on it and dont want to get ahead of myself! Can someone tell me what the BOOK says about breakin,I have my own way to breakin,I would like to know what the manual says. Thanks[:-]

 

If I recall correctly, it is in the owners manual. The service manual does not have that info.

 

I don't know about the zx10, but it's 4k rps till 500 mi, and 6k to 1000 mi for my 636.

 

Yeh, some ungodly low rpms for sure. Heck, can't even do the speed limit at 4k.

 

When I was breaking in 6th @ 4k was 48 mph. I felt like I was going in reverse. Lol.

 

Well it's to late now I am at 512 miles now and I kept it under 5k(most of the time) lol
