Welcome to the forums! Good choice with the bike. I have an 08 and just broke the 1000 mile mark a week or so back and now getting to really know the bike I took it easy for the break in but didn't follow it to the T.

The ZZR sticker just peel right off. If they seem a bit stubborn, use a heat gun or a common hairdryer. Mine left no glue residue behind.

I looked at the Ninja also and glad I went with the ZZR. What color did you get? I was going back and forth with the blue and the black and went with the black. It is one sharp looking bike! Post some pics. Here is one of mine. (another excuse to post a pic)
