Some dealers had bikes on display last weekend along the oceanfront, and I see the Z1000's exhaust balance tube for the 2 most outer primary header pipes connects about a foot lower than the balance tube for the 2 inner cylinders..

Anyone know why? That's quite a difference, even if the inner cylinders FI settings are slightly different than the outer cylinders.
