dynojet jets different sizes than factory?

Default dynojet jets different sizes than factory?

So i have a dynojet 132 jet
N1tc needle
Kawasaki part # 38 jet

ive read that Dynojet numbers are not the same as kawasaki(kehin) numbers..

is this the truth?

by that chart i shouldput a 124? Dynojet in...

or am i really over thinking this?

here's another chart for ya: and yes they flow slightly different because of nozzle effect of the internal shapes. Also the DJ main jet sizing is using THEIR needle, if your using the 300 needle I'd try and size the main to a keihin equivalent that's known to work ~128

well i wanted to do a 38/132 combo

so i guess now ill do a 38/DJ124 combo with n1tc needle

does that sound right?

For street, ditch the airbox lid and snorkel and fit a K&N filter, #138 main jet (#132 JD main jet) and a #38 pilot. Iridium plug gets my vote too.
