Default New best with the 636!

Friday night I went to the drag strip to see if I can get a faster time slip then last time I went out. It was so busy, mainly from street cars, that the bikes only got to make 2 runs since I got there. So as soon as I arrived,I met a buddy who let me borrow his front strap - got it strapped down just in time to make my first pass. I didn't really slip the clutch enough coming out of the hole so I crossed the 60ft on the back wheel with a 1.85 - that pass netted me a 10.75 @ 128.2mph ... Hour later we get to make another pass, this time I told myself I gotta launch the crap out of it and hang on. The lights start dropping, rev to 11-12k rpms and let er' rip!

Reaction - .733
60ft -1.71
330ft - 4.49
1/8et - 6.86 @ 102.67
1000ft - 8.92 @ 118.14
1/4et - 10.56 @ 128.31

I met my goal of a 10.5 pass ! For those of you who don't know, it was on a 2003 636r. mods = -1 +2 sprockets, PC without a dyno tune, k&n , hindle slip-on.

nice job!!!thats what my husband does on his 03 6r too. his fastest was a 10.35 but we had a tailwind that day and he stretched 6 inches now. I would be willing to bet he weighs a little more than you too. but you are rigththere in times. good job!

nice times, dragging a car is way easier i think, dragging a bike is way scary, i watched a girl launch a busa straight outta the hole right into the christmas tree. im thinking i might drag this summer in my bike, we only got a 1/8 mile here. nice times BTW
