hey projectroc, me and u have basically the same mods done to our bikes, u have a 03 & i have a 04, both are stock wheelbase, how did u leave that high without really loosen control of the front end, i tried leavin at 8 rpm and front end shoot up like a rocket, but i think i just dumped the clutch on that pass bc i was really tryin to beat the person i was lined up against, also your 60ft are good on a stock wheel base bike, my best 60 is a 1.85, and my best 1/8 mile to date is a 7.58 @ 101 mph, also how much do u weight

Ryda - Sorry took so long to reply, I forgot about this thread and haven't visited the website in a while. If I dump the clutch too fast then yes it will shoot up! But i just quicklyrelease itright beforethe 60ft mark...I weigh about 160lbs. I need to replace the clutch now but I would like to go back to see if I can do it again. I don't know what altitude you're at but I think the track is right around 1600ft ...that makes a difference say if you were racing in colorado or something.

No I haven't heard of the 636 having secondary butterflies...I've heard that on the zx14 and they were having good results down low. ..Have you donethis? What clutch are you looking at ? I'm thinking about getting the standard EBC clutch kit and seeing how well it does, if I do go that way, I'll take those springs off your hands.

Hey this is my thread! Ha ha, I don't mind... Is that a dry kit that he has? What size shot ? Does he have a rpm window switch? I've been really thinking about going n20...Did he remove any timing? Colder spark plugs? Or did he just bolt it on and go. Sorry for all the questions

to remove the secondary butterflies all u got to do is remove the air box or just the top cover of the air box and remove your air filter, and remove the secondary butterflies from there, very simple to do and u will get better throttle responce i can assure u from down low, also will help u on your 60ft times, and yeah the springs are yours if u want them just let me no when u want them and i will get them out to u

I went to the track a couple weeks ago...I am due up for a clutch! How do you like yours so far? I ended up running my fastest timeslip at the end of the night. 10.67 @ 127mph with a 1.68 60ft. That pass should have been a little quicker but the clutch wasn't all there and I switched to a "richer" map on the p.c. Don't think it helped me any. I'll go back with a new clutch and try it out then. Let me know howyou do on yours! My 1/8 was 6.91 @ 103mph
