Actually the 05 10r was my first bike, lol. Alot of people where surprised. Not saying anyone can do it or I'm just someone special. I know my limits now and was lucky before with a few of my sports cars, to have a respect for the power. Like I said i agree with you to a point, but some guys and girls can drive better then others and the ones who cant prolly dont need that extra speed to get them in trouble.
Thats really all that matters as long as you know your own limits, you can safely handle any peice of machinery. When I started drivinga slowercar I was able to test my own limits in a vehicle that couldn't exceed my limits by a great deal. With more experiance, I am able to bring myself and my car to the limit without exceeding either limit. Like they say in flight school, you start out with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experiance, the trick is to fill the bag of experiance before you run out of luck. And driving a really fast car on the knife edge of control eats up luck really fast.

+1
the first time I was out driving on my own I had to see what my dad's 4 cylinder S-10 would do, downhill with a tail wind i could just barely peg that thing at 90. What ever car you have you are going to drive the hell out of it as a kid, thats your job, my parents werent the least bit suprised when I can home with my first ticket, in my mom's full size van no less, coulda made a motor home out of that thing it was so big, but I took it to its top speed, shooting past everyone on the freeway like a mad man. My mom knew it my Dad knew it they aren't stupid. and they also knew that if they bought me a car that could do 150, it would only be a matter of hours before it met that speed. And let me tell you I learned some lessons in the slow cars beforeI moved up to my 300zx, like how to control a car in a slide, blew out a tire learning that one. That doesnt mean that I didnt have anything else to learn after I moved up, but those early lessons would have been alot more dangerous if my parents provided me with a 200HP 155 MPH lesson in Torque Steer.
hehehe those 300zx's are sick machines. what year?

EDIT: oh yea, those were some truthful words +1

Its an '87 turbo, its pretty quick but kinda losing some oomph after 20 years. Still handles beautifully even tho all of theshocks need replaced....actually alot of stuff needs replaced, but its a blast to drive.
