Call me old school; I miss the 2-stroke days. I can only imagine what riding one of THOSE must've been like....hitting that sledgehammer powerband. Don't get me wrong, the young guys have serious chops, but Doohan, Rainey, Schwantz, Lawson, Roberts, were just amaaaaazing.

I agree 200% with you. There was nothing like watching Kocinski on the Cagiva at Laguna, Or Rainey,Lawson,Schwantz,Doohan or Beatty power sliding a 2 stroke 500 through a corner. I'd like to see traction control removed from all racing. Then we'd see who the best rider really is.
