my buddies and i were on a ride a few weeks ago and i was taking up the rear. we had to slow down for a truck turning off of the road and all of the sudden i hear skreeching tires. the next thing i know there was a jeep beside me.
I hear on that one... the same thing happened to me in the bay area, when me a couple friends went out for a ride and all the trffic stoped and I had to swerve out to the next lane to keep from hitting the rear tire of my friends bike. Well as I merged over All I saw was a truck bumper at my exhaust I got lucky he saw me and gave me enough room to operate. Sometimes cagers arnt so bad, its the ones that dont pay attention.

to think that some of them may have survived if they had just worn a helmet and when it comes to leathers...I'd rather sweat a little than bleed alot...

dang...when you scroll down, some pretty gruesome pics... The mesh jacket did not help prevent road rash very well on that girl....Did yall see the helmet break and imprint on the grill of that truck!! man....

Goes to show....Even if you are geared up, common sense and knowing what's going on around you are just as important, if not more important!!

Just going home from work today- lady on a cell pulled right out of the neighborhood into the street, seen me and just stopped in the road.
We never hit, thank God.
PLEASE, keep your eyes open, keep the rubber down and paint up.
Blessings to yall.

I think I have had that site sent to me a half dozen times. I deal with my fair share of trauma so I only had to see it one time. Just a powerfull reminder of how fragile we really are.

Really unfortunate...
