It’s been a while but I remember working with the restoration volunteers at the air & space museum in sd
Right turn signal got slightly singed, so I’m going to locate it further away from the fmf exhaust path.

Finished, paint drying
Silicon bronze filler rod flows so easily compared to pushing the aluminum puddle.

Tbh they came out ok. I had to clean up the welds w a stainless wire bristle brush to get it painted. Thank you for the compliments. She came by n took it again this weekend. I raised the forks in the triple clamps n loosened the rear shock spring preload for her to touch the ground with both feet. That made her happy. Dot off road tires, oversized footpegs will round out this bike next week, big bore kit will be a later addition hopefully soon. The Keihin fcr35 is being taken care of by jerry at four stroke works, looking forward to getting that taken care of. This rear fender eliminator was reworked twice to fix a turn signal burning issue as the fmf q4 exhaust path showed.
Bike jewelry. Not many of the mods done are visible, but everything done was to improve performance or rider comfort. It’s been a quick month.

Perfect, since i got rid of my stock headlight and have the 4 bolt bulbs running off the low beam, i can use the high beam for the led bar and get rid of the separate circuit i made prior. For some reason i didnt think it could handle the power......Noob status at the time

Baja designs rewinds klx stators but it’s possible the stator already is already maxed out on the newer ‘09 & later versions.
I think it’s great what you did to your lighting. I really was into riding at night. Hids n 2-55 watt cibie Oscar plus halogen lights
Trx250r with 210 watts worth of bulbs 2-55w & a 100w. LT500R with 2-35 watt bulbs

the stock stator should be able to handle 70 watts no? The led draws 30 and the mini bulbs are 10 watts a piece
