Another KLX250S mod thread
Next Monday I should be receiving a 72mi + klx250s. The owner rode mine a few times (entered in a desert race once, there's a pic of the stripped down machine) and decided on one after looking at the market for over 3 years. She rides a cr250r too. She wants to do the mods I did, so this build shouldn't hold any surprises.

Nice looking CR, my first dirtbike was a 2001 CR250R and it was a blast! Garages always look better with multiple bikes in them, good luck with the mods

Just finished up the mounting brackets for the kx450 front plate today to mount to the existing stock holes. Once i get it painted up and mounted ill be posting pictures. Looks good for quick fix

Update: The bike was bought used so while riding on the road the rear shock seal started leaking. The shop has the shock out to be rebuilt. It’s been 2 weeks in the shop so waiting for that now. Tried to get a bolt on tower kit for the Scotts steering stabilizer, BUT Scotts Performance informed me today their vendor for that part got injured in a car accident and may not ever return to producing anything in the future! Bummer! A weld on tower is going to be available in two weeks. Friend is also getting 3/16-1/4” aluminum plate to make a skid plate.
Collecting parts currently so far ims tank, fmf q4, modified header, answer fat bar mounts, Pirelli/Dunlop knobbies, rear fender eliminator, dual lights I’m letting go too.
