i hear of civil war ghost that lingers and randomly appears in the early morning for on a twisty Wv backroad not far from here..

theres been MANY deaths from the civil, and other wars, and this area is rich with a sadly bloodied history. the house sitting on the property of these sightings dats back the the early 1800's as does the water-wheel mill and whats left of a mansion's foundation.. that, or perhaps slave quarters.

i have yet to spot this apparition on my ventures however.. many times i've come thru there in the for at about 1:30am, and have seen nothing but the moonlit ribbon of tarmac that unfolds before me, whittling itself thru the dense trees and over streams and fields...

certainly, 100% believe in ghosts tho..

got my reasons..

 

One Halloween we went to that haunted prison down in WV and it was nothing but crap. But as a firm believer in " something out there" there's been times where something wasn't right. But not in a movie way.

 

I think that paranormal activity I.E. ghosts, rarely show themselves when people are looking for them. They probably sense that. It is my theory that they show up at certain times that correlate to an event. Thats why the those ghost hunter dudes rarely find anything that I would consider asignificant event. They run wires and monitors all over the place, and have six people looking everywhere. The energy from all of those people probably interferes with the paranormal presences. Just my theory!

 

Exactly bro! The coolest part is when they put you in the prison cell in complete darkness. Oooh scary...like I haven't been there before.
