Nothing has really changed, its just that there are a few newer members that are taking the posting to a new level, and some of the mods are just trying to keep everyone happy. One poster can cause 10 guys to leave and we don't want that. I saw that happen with the KLX 250 section when it was in its infancy, and we just don't want a repeat of that.

 

I guess you are right, but why was the 10 list put up in the first place? With the personality of most bikers I know (myself included)there was obviously going to be competition.The one-word posting is annoying, but thejoking back and forth is part of the fun here, one of the reasons I thought it would be fun to join, because you guys were hilarious. If we all just responf to technical posts and bike questions (which are very important...don't get me wrong) this place would get very boring, and we would probably see less members IMO. Imostly like things the way they are I guess...

 

The top ten list is just part of the forum template. What makes this site great isn't the top ten list (as much as I would like to get back on it) or the different sub-forums. What makes this forum so great is the fact that we are like a big family. The joking back and forth, the fact that there is usually somebody logged in, the fact that we genuinely care about each other... that's what makes KF so great.

 

Yeah the problem with banningsomeone is that every new guy who pops up will be suspected of being the banned person. Gotta stop the fighting and start the healing. Cant we all just get along?

It can be done on a small scale. Large scale cooperation gets more difficult.
