Found this bike on the net, and love the color scheme, and the double headlights. Its a 92, but I'm trying to figure out what the weird things coming from the front to the gas tank are. Any Ninja owners know what they are? I thought air vents or steering stabilizers, but I have no clue. Anyone?

Deej,

Those things have got to be ram air hoses because of the intake ports in the fairing. The air box is normally somewhere under the gas tank.
That's my guess.

So they must flex? That's a weird one for sure. Seems like they would either be too stiff, or would rip after a short amount of time.

Ram air didnt come out until 93. That bike is a 92 - in 91 they didnt have the wing on the back I dont think. The hoover tubes actually do not run into the airbox like the 93 and newer do, but instead rain air down over the tops of the cylinder heads. Cooling? I dunno... but I do know that engine and carb setup does not pressurize the airbox.

In 93, they kinda kept the same paint job, but splashed it up a little - both are some of my favorites... and the above pix are very very clean. the owner should be very proud of that ride. I would buy it in a heartbeat.
