There is a rubber isolation pad over the heads. True, not ram air, but getting cooler air into the airbox.

so earlier was to cool the motor then it was ram air... cool..... some more....








did they move them to the side?

they are going under the tank.... where the motor/ airbox is.... come on man keep up....

You know how some of today's bikes have plastic "tanks" to keep the traditional shape and style, but the tank is shaped different and hidden below ( think zx12, 636, gixxer)... same idea there... It is a faux tank in that area, and ducting goes down and around the real tank below the skin of the visible "tank". The 93+ is all tank though, with the ram-airs coming down the side of the frame... single for 93-95 I think, then dual for 96+ or whenever the cat-eye headlamps came out.

Deej,you should really get yourself one of those bikes man.I think you would like it once you tried it.I love the color scheme and one of the reasons I bought my Eddie Lawson ZRX,if it's a kawi it has to have the famous green colorj/k kidding for you non greenies
