So, like, yeah, I'm gonna be a biker chick

Wayne has a Kawasaki Ninja 750 that he got back in early Feb. And now with the weather starting to warm up some I've been riding more with him and finding I actually like it! *Gasp*

So Sunday we all went for a ride. Me and Wayne on his Ninja 750, my brother Travis and Sister in Law Becca on their Ninja 900, and my brother Ed on his Yamaha Nonsport bike something or other. Wayne got him and I up to 100 and I could have done faster but he thought I was gonna be scared. We had a nice long ride. When we got home we were sitting in the parking lot outside of my parents shop and I got on Wayne's bike and I said "Can I drive it?" and he said "OK." I coudn't believe it.

He told me what to do, how to push the thing down to go into first and up half click into neutral. How to let out the clutch a little and give it a little throttle. Well the bike actually started to go on it's own when i let out the clutch, I didn't need to give it throttle. Wayne stayed beside me at first, but I found that if I did give it a little throttle and went just a tad bit faster it was easier to keep that 400 lb bike balanced. Oh, and another thing, I couldn't touch the ground! So I cruised around the parking lot a while, thought "hey, this is pretty cool." I thought it'd be cool for Becca to learn to ride to and easier for her to learn on Wayne's 750 than Trav's 900 so I told her she could take a try at it.

Meanwhile....Ed talks me into giving his bike a try. Well let me tell you that thing is NOT like a sport bike. I COULD actually touch the ground but....I got going pretty good on it....was going....heading straight towards the sidewalk and the window of the stores. I started yelling "HELP ME! HELP ME!" No one came to help. Next thing I knew I was on the side walk, on my side, with a bike on top of me. That's right folks, I laid the thing out. Don't ask me what happened, cuz I don't know. It was then I decided those kind of bikes weren't for me...I'm a sport bike girl.

So I found my bike. It's going to be red and black. Guess what it is....Go ahead...Guess.....

Hint... It's made my Suzuki.

A GSX-R 1000.

Oh be still my heart. I am in love. I have to have it. W says I'll kill myself on it. But I'm gonna get it. It will be mine. Here is a link GSX-R 1000 Whaddya think? It's hot, isn't it? Oh yeah!

that what i said, but she doesn't want to hear it. i'm going to either get her a 250 or 500. she actually liked the green 10R, but once she saw a gsxr thats all she wants. I told her to dream on, and that i'll spend 11k on a bike for me before i spent that kind of green on her for a first bike. She did like the 650R though.

if your cool with it, give her your zx7r and go pick up a zx10 for you, then when shes ready to get a bigger one shell have more experience. dont get me wrong, i think the zx7 might be a little hard to learn on but shell have a kawi and youll have a new bike. just a thought but your probley better off starting out with a 250 or a 500 like you mentioned. zx7s are a bitch to turn sometimes. you probley know what i mean.

[] OOOOHHHHHH, talk some sense into her........not a 1000!!!!! Tell her she'd like to be around for a little while. I know a girl who "thought" she could ride and got a gsxf 750 and dumped it taking off. The 250 is perfect even for someone who knows how to ride. Doesn't bite ya in the ***!!!! Good luck, I hope she comes around
