Friend of mine from high school has the scars, he got mauled at a boy scout camp in New Mexico, his face healed pretty well, considering...

 

Scars are easy. You can make yourself some cool scars and you can say they're from whatever you like! It's automatic street cred! "This was from when I tackled a deer and killed it with a hammer!" I wouldnt touch the women at our Cabela's but I guess with a beard like that, you gotta take what you can get

Well I was wrong, maybe it is just the lower 48 you can't hunt them. It is kinda of a big deal here in Montana knowing the difference between the black bear and grizzly so you don't shoot the wrong one.
