This tragic story does not directly affect my family, but in a small town, something like this affects everyone. I'm passing along the link as a PSA to all of you on this site, especially if you have children. Set the example yourself, and require your kids to always buckle-up.

Stuff like that is tragic and it does hit "home" especially hard when it is one of the family that gets involved with something simple like buckling up.

I lost a bud, his wife and his brother in a tragic neglect in safety. My bud and I toured in the gulf with not a scratch. He decided to hit up (buy) a new car without utilizing the safety precautions ie seatbelts. (same with the others in the vehicle) Needless to say, my bud and his family have tombstones for contact info only.

Buckling up is like gearing up for your next ride. Just do it.
