Wakeboarding
So, a few weeks ago I went wakeboarding for the first time... Damn that's a lot of fun. Took a little while to learn how to get up out of the water, but once you do it, it's awesome! Here's one of the pics from the trip, one of my first times up...
Notice the big-*** bruise on my right thigh from paintballing a few days earlier. I'm just glad the guy didn't aim any higher!

Very fun. go out to an Island here called Catalina, it's about 22 miles off of L. A. harbor, and its great. Crystal clear water you can see right down to 100 ft and glass surface in the morning.

Sweet! We've been heading out before work... That pic was probably taken around 7am a couple of weeks ago. We'd get out on the water by 6am, and stay till about 8:30 then roll into the office around 9... It was great, the whole day just sort of drifts by without a care in the world. Sometimes the water is nice and glassy, sometimes a bit choppy, but never so bad that it's not worth going!
Mr. Toad... What better way to get over your fear of water then wakeboard therapy!? You'll love it! You've got a vest on, so it's near impossible for anything bad to happen...
Now the weather's a bit colder, so a wetsuit is almost mandatory, and I've been working on jumping the wake and riding switch... I can nearly land ON the wake, just need to work on cutting a bit harder through the wake to get enough air to clear it.
