as many of you may know, i am the young, bike hungry member here...well i got into yet another debate about the age one may get their class M(150+) liscence...he insisted thatafter going through a course a "minor with a liscence" can get a Class L, but i said after taking the proper courses, the minor could get a Class M...but When i went to the DMV's web site to try and clarify it...all i got was some garble....so if anyone could explain the process better than this website, i would greatly appreaceate(sp) it

1. Get a learners permit (car)
2. Drivers ed (car)
3. Motorcycle permit
4. Study motrcycle manual (for written test I guess)
5. Take he riders course (MSF course)
6. hold the permit for three months riding with an adult during daylight hours
7. Take the road test and get your damn license!

 

awww badass that means i get my liscence sometime next year....shiot then i have to convince my "gaurdian" to sign off on it though....
