And that's with 2 riders. Mine wouldn't be that cheap, but I'm military, so I don't have to have medical coverage. If I get hurt, I just go to the hospital and never have to worry about the bill, 'cause the Army pays for it.

Kevhamm I feel ya brother. Me livin paycheck from paycheck for some years now. Yeah it gets me down but I keep on spending money. The economy sucks right now for everybody but the only way to have anything in this world is to get it or do it. Its all about doin what you like and having fun and making the best out of bad situations. I have it ruff at times, but I keep pressing on with my chin up and think about things like well this is the reason I bought the bike and it makes me happy. And eating out kills the wallet try shopping at a value grociery store for a couple of weeks and maybe that will lighten the load on your wallet some. I just hate to see people give up what they like cause of money (thats giving into the man) "if your not in debt then your not living life"

If I had to pay a grand a year or more for insurance I wouldn't be able to afford it. I live in Washington State where motorcycle insurance is not even required. But I got 300,000 liability for 80 bucks a year. That's the best value around in my opinion.
